Bourbonr Blog Turns 1!
The Bourbonr Blog Turns 1 Today!
Exactly one year ago today the first post went up on the Bourbonr Blog. It was a guest post by Clay Risen of the New York Times and Mash Notes.
It has been a great year and while I never received any higher than a C in English (I’m sure you’ve figured that out if you’ve read some of my post) writing for the blog hasĀ been a lot of fun. I hope you all have enjoyed them as well. To celebrate I will be pouring a tall glass of Old Forester Birthday Bourbon!
Tell me what your favorite post was in the comments and I’ll select someone to give a free Bourbonr NEAT glass to.

The BTAC analysis of proof and age is one that I particularly enjoyed and have visited multiple times. I just love a good line graph! Keep up the great work.
As we say, Blake, Mazel Tov!
The OFBB is my daughters favourite and I pulled one out of the bunker for her birthday.
I’ll toast the site next time we have a pour!
I have to pick jut one! It would be an old one: http://bourbonr.com/blog/bourbon-map-owner-distiller-brand/. Even though the narrative posts are more interesting, I keep going back to refer to that one.
Really enjoyed the BTAC breakdown by year…keep up the great work.
I really enjoyed the Four Roses mash bill article. I learned a lot from that one as I’m still pretty new to this. Keep up the great work!
The ECBP info graph you did just recently. Trying to remember those proofs, esp since one is 134.2 and another is 132.4, and also knowing a couple more will be added – has and will save me from many brain seizures!!!
I also tried to make a point in another ECBP post that HH doesn’t even bottle them according to release date anyway.
So keep being a beacon of organization and consistency in what seems like a sea of chaos and nonsense sometimes.
One of my favorites was the history of the BTAC! I have gone back to look at that one several times. I enjoy reading all the posts.
This posts seems pretty cool. I’ll go with this one; that’s my vote.

Congrats ! Tie between your release date calendar and the four roses mash billing post – keep up the great work !
